Academic Routes (summary) 

My name is Fernanda Mendes Barata. I have been working in Mental Health Care for 16 years, deeply involved in the quality of life of the human person in its various dimensions: psychological, family, social and spiritual. 

I graduated in Dignity Therapy in 2017, at the University of Manitoba & Cancer Care, in Canada. 

I have academic training in Psychotherapy (UAL), Neuropsychology (INSPSIC), Neurodevelopment (FCMUL), Palliative Care (INSPSIC), Grief Support Therapy (FCMUL), Gerontology (UCP), Psychology (ISPA) and Social Sciences (UAL).

Currently, I am developing a research on the application of Dignity Therapy with the elderly and people during mourning processes, for PhD accomplisments.
